Awarding Fellowships


To request a fellowship payment for a student, please email the following Fellowship and Student details to

Fellowship Information

  • Fund name & number
  • Department ID (DeptID)
  • Total award amount
  • Award payout semester/month & amounts

Student(s) Information

  • First & last name
  • Email address
  • UC Berkeley Student ID (SID)
  • Graduate or undergraduate

The LBS team will verify that the student's financial aid package does not conflict with the requested award and eStudent Information Services will issue the payment.



To request a fellowship payment for someone who is not a student, please email the award details along with the recipient's name, email address, and whether or not the recipient is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The recipient will be sent the appropriate supplier onboarding invitation to set up their payment information, and LBS will process the payment.
