There are times when we have predicted Item records for serial issues that have not been received and need to be deleted.

This procedure presents the steps for marking Alma bibliographic and holdings records for deletion. To delete an item record, see Deleting (Withdrawing) Item Records in Alma.

This document contains the processes and use cases for deleting item records which were created recently in error. This document does not cover deletion for catalog maintenance nor what are traditionally considered as withdrawals.

To turn on a “Link in Record database,” there are two ways:
